I’m a freelance writer and have a home based business/office. All of my work is submitted online. In other words, I cannot do my job without internet service. Can I deduct my internet expenses? If so, where do I enter that deduction?

Internet is a great think as we all know, BUT with zillions of webpages it’s hard to find what you’re looking for…..wait, that’s why they invented Search engines such as Yahoo…oh,ok…..wait ! what is this ? everytime I search in yahoo or google I get gazillion posible webpages matching my search criteria !! well, that’s a problem by itself, but today I want to focus on Home-based bussinessess, I can’t use this info. because results are either scam or NOn-realistic get-rich-overnight-schemes (or scams?) that are a waste of time…….anybody has had a Real good experience which allows them to make money (modest, not overnight billionaires) ??? pls give me your must honest opinion……God bless you !

Recently I met an old friend who told me that she is now days working as Business Analyst From Home and doing pretty well. During the meeting a few times I asked her how she got into this and what she do in her job but her every response clearly showed that she isn’t willing to give me the details or guide me.

She got a graduate degree and few years of clerical work experience in some airline. I felt quite surprised on her working as a business analyst because in my mind it is something very complicated.

Being very honest I am tired of doing ROUTINE managerial job and from quite some time have been thinking to join a business consultancy or preferably start working as independent / freelance Business Consultant.

I have got two master degrees in business from UK and it is my dream to work as a business consultant and analyst from home and if possible then through internet.

This is my dream job that I really want to do.

Guys please help me in this matter.

Thanks.

Quickstar, with no success. I’m new to the area and know very few people so selling is not a good idea unless it’s over the internet. Any suggestions appreciated. Newly seperated with 3 small children so I must do something while my son is in school half day. Thank you.

Ok I want to start a computer repair from my home. I live in FL. Florida has a Use Tax where if you buy anything out of state via internet, sales catalogs or whatever you have to submit sales tax to the state of FL. Ok so does that still apply if I have a registered company with the state of FL?
If I sell parts and labor to my customers I charge them sales tax on the parts and submit that in full to the state of FL? Is that correct?
What other license’s, permits, ext do I need to get to start a business out of my home in FL.??
